How I Got Here

I started shooting sporting clays in 2004 and couldn't get enough of it. I was working in IT at the time, and that afforded me the budget I needed to be able to shoot as much as I wanted. In 2009, the tech market bottomed out and I started taking photos at sporting clays shoots. That led to meeting a lot of the manufacturers and reps of the shotgun companies, including the folks at Caesar Guerini. I started on their Pro-Staff, and when the position became available, I became the Brand Manager for Syren – their ladies' brand of shotguns made up of both Caesar Guerini and Fabarm models.

I traveled the country doing shotgun demos and working shoots, met some incredible people, and sold over $7 million in shotguns in my time there. During Covid in 2020, I left and moved back to Texas to work for Fausti as their sales manager. Still traveling, still attending shoots, still working with my dealer network. It was a great run, but I was ready for something different.

Why Community Matters

Providing a service that no one else does is important, and the more you support the community, the more you get back. It took me a long time to find a community that I wanted to stay in and get to know – and McCall is it.

I want this shop to be the Connector – the go-to place for all things outdoors. Not just hunting, but recreational shooting and archery, and ultimately booking hunts and trips locally, in Idaho, across the country, and internationally. I want to offer all the things you need locally, but also unique opportunities that are only available because you're connected to us.
