Gun Consignment

Consignment is a great way to sell your guns. Just bring them into the shop, we'll check them into our system, determine a value, put them on the wall, and then you get paid when they sell. If they sit for too long, we typically start dropping the price, but we'll have agreed to a bottom number beforehand. You're welcome to come and reclaim your firearms at any time with no charge.

We'll consign for anyone needing to sell their firearms. We've also received firearms from estates and families not interested in keeping them. Once the firearm(s) sell, you can elect to be paid out or use the credit to purchase other guns in the shop.

Why consign with us instead of selling privately? Bringing your guns to the shop just gets more eyeballs on them. In addition to our in-shop customers, we're working on listing used guns for sale across multiple online platforms to reach even more buyers. We'll handle the financial transaction, shipping to an FFL (if needed), and the background check/transfer.

  • What We Accept

We accept handguns, shotguns, and rifles – new and old. We've had guns that are over 100 years old and some brand new, never been shot. We take guns in all conditions. If they're vintage, they don't have to work as some people like them just for display. If they're not in working order and need to be, we have an in-house gunsmith that can get them fixed so we can put them up for sale.

  • Requirements & Policies

Age: You need to be 18 or older to consign guns.

Safety: Always be sure that all firearms are unloaded before they enter the shop.

Timeline: Some items sell very quickly, while others need to find the perfect customer! After 90 days, prices are typically dropped 10%, and then an additional 10% each month thereafter to the lowest amount you've requested. If the firearm doesn't sell after a certain timeframe, you're welcome to come and retrieve it at no cost.

  • Fees & Commission

    Standard Commission: 20%

If Repairs Are Needed: Depending on the fix, it will either be deducted from the final sale amount, or we'll charge an additional 10% commission – for a total of 30% to the shop and 70% to you. This will be agreed to by both parties and determined when the amount of repair is known.

If You Want Work Done Before Listing: If you'd like work done to the gun – such as cleaning or test firing prior to posting for sale – we add an additional 10% to the commission.

  • Getting Started:

If you have 1–5 guns, come in anytime we're open and we'll get them checked in. If you have more than 5, it's best to call and schedule an appointment as it takes a bit of time to check them in. We recommend having your own list of the firearms and serial numbers prior to bringing them in for consignment.

    What to Bring:
You'll need to bring a valid ID (cannot be expired):

    • Driver's License (all states acceptable)
    • Commercial Driver's License
    • Concealed Weapons License
    • Enhanced Concealed Weapons License
    • Passport or Permanent Resident Card

    The Process:
We'll do a bit of research on each firearm by looking at BlueBook and several auction sites. Guns are worth what someone will pay for them, so we want to make sure the value is consistent with what the market will tolerate. If you have information unique to that firearm or model, be sure to share it so we can showcase it to potential customers. You'll receive a report with each of the guns listed, serial number, description, and final listing price.

We work to get to know the guns we have in stock so we can help customers when they're looking for something in particular.
